Aberdeen had a stronger start to the game with a shot on target for Dylan Lobban in 2 minutes. Hearts were quick to fight back with a Kyziridis free kick floated over top landing with StuartFindlay but the shot was just wide in the end and would have potentially been pulled back for offside.
McInnes’ side have not won at Pittodrie since May 2016 which ended as a 1-0 win for the Jambos.
It wasn’t meant to be for the travelling side as The Dons opened the scoring after 39 minutes

Final chance of the game for the Jamtarts and it was a cross from Christian Borchgrevink onto James Wilson but was headed wide of goal.
A convincing performance for Aberdeen, and a lot of improvements in recent matches.
A first loss of the season for Hearts while missing some of the key players from the squad. Jimmy Thelin’s side take on FC Noah on Thursday night in the Europa Conference league. McInnes’ next match is away to Motherwell next Saturday.
