Wanner joins the West Lothian side on a three-year contract, having signed for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old joins from Austrian club SKU Amstetten, where he scored 10 goals in 32 appearances for the side.
Wanner has experience playing in both the German and Austrian leagues.
