Kilmarnock Football Club are delighted to unveil their latest signing, Kamson Kamara, on a season-long loan from Heart of Midlothian FC.

The impressive centre-back attracted the attention of the Scottish Premiership runners-up Hearts after a successful spell playing for Glentoran FC.

The 20-year-old then signed for Hearts during the summer before signing his new loan deal at the Ayrshire side.

Kamara had played 30 matches for Northern Irish top-six side Glentoran, contributing 4 goals and earning a place in the Northern Irish Football Writers’ Association (NIFWA) Team of the Year.

The rising defender was not only nominated for the NIFWA Team of the Year, but was also identified as a strong contender for Young Player of the Year in the same season – receiving a double nomination.

Kilmarnock FC manager Neil McCann hopes that bringing Kamara in will strengthen his backline after long-time centre-back Robbie Deas picked up an injury against Dundee United.

The defender joins Kilmarnock FC on a contract that remains until January 2027, subject to SFA approval.

MJ will gain vital first-team minutes and may be in contention for selection against Aberdeen in the quarter-finals of the Premier Sports Cup.
