Calvin Miller Joins Hearts on Three Year Deal

Heart of Midlothian have completed the signing of Calvin Miller from Falkirk on a three-year contract, with the winger becoming the latest addition to Derek McInnes’ squad ahead of the 2026-27 season. Miller joins Hearts after spending three seasons at Falkirk, where he played an important role in one of the club’s most successful periods in recent years. After arriving in 2023, he helped the Bairns secure promotion from Scottish League One and the Championship, establishing themselves back in the Premiership with a top six finish. His performances over that period made him a regular starter and one of the team’s most influential attacking players. The 28-year-old leaves Falkirk having made more than 100 appearances for the club across all competitions. He has earned recognition as one of the Premiership’s most effective wide players outside the division’s traditional top clubs. Before joining Falkirk, Miller’s career included spells at a number of clubs in Scotland and England. A graduate of Celtic’s academy, he gained first-team experience with Dundee and Ayr United before moving south of the border. He later represented Notts County, Chesterfield and Harrogate Town, building experience across different levels of the game before returning to Scotland. His move to Hearts comes after a strong 2025-26 campaign, during which he attracted interest from elsewhere in the Premiership. Hearts ultimately secured his signature, adding an experienced and versatile option to their attacking ranks. For Hearts, the signing continues a summer recruitment drive aimed at strengthening the squad ahead of the new season. McInnes has been looking to add quality and competition in key areas of the pitch, and Miller’s arrival provides additional depth in wide positions. For Falkirk, Miller’s departure brings an end to a successful three-year spell in which he became an important figure both on and off the pitch. His contribution to the club’s recent progress ensured he left with a strong reputation among supporters. Miller has signed a contract until the summer of 2029 and will now begin preparations for his first season as a Hearts player.
