Rangers predicted XI v Dundee: Who will Derek McInnes select as Rangers look to extend winning run in Dundee

Rangers visit Dundee tonight looking to extend their seven-game winning run, but who will shine for McInnes as Rangers look to maintain the momentum.

Ivor Pandur – With four clean sheets to his name in the league, a commanding presence in the box and willingness to distribute quickly. Ivor Pandur has been a solid pick-up for Derek McInnes and will surely keep his spot in net for the foreseeable future.

Dujon Sterling – Dujon Sterling was forced off at half-time last week after suffering from tonsilitis. However, he trained this week and after some sublime performances recently, it would be hard to leave the Englishman out of this one.

Emmanuel Fernandez – After a shaky start to the season, Emmanuel Fernandez struggled to replicate the way he was performing last season. However, the Rangers Player of the Year has gradually rebuilt his confidence alongside defensive partner Olwethu Makhanya.

Olwethu Makhanya – A breath of fresh air for the Rangers support. Bringing composure and confidence into the backline, will see him pair alongside Fernandez once again at Dens Park.

James Penrice – The AEK Athens loanee has impressed in recent weeks. With his ability to contribute both as an attacker and defender, alongside coming into the centre of the pitch, offers Derek McInnes’ men another threat when they have the ball. He will retain his place in the starting XI.

Nico Raskin / Dan Neil – The pair are expected to keep their position in the squad after strong recent performances. With Raskin’s eagerness to win the ball and Dan Neil’s composure and passing, alongside an eye for goal show in the League Cup derby. The two midfielders will be key for Rangers not only in tonight’s match, but in weeks to come with their control of match tempo.

Djeidi Gassama – With his pace and direct running at opponents, Gassama has came on leaps and bounds since last season. His trickery and ability to beat opponents gives Rangers a strong attacking threat. Although his finishing can be wayward, expect him to cause trouble against Dundee’s backline tonight if he starts.

Findlay Curtis – A toss up between Curtis and Min-Su Kim. However, after a tremendous display for Scotland U21’s, setting up four goals in a 5-2 win over Azerbaijan. The Rangers youngster will have bundles of confidence coming into this one. But, with Min-Su Kim’s energy in recent weeks, combined with his creative spark, it will be a difficult decision for Derek McInnes.

Ryan Naderi / Kevin Kelsy – With both strikers in red-hot form, it’s a no brainier for McInnes to start the pair. With their physical presence and constant movement, Naderi and Kelsy will be looking to add to their tally and secure three points for Rangers tonight.
