Following last week’s Premier Sports Cup quarter-final at Ibrox, Celtic and Rangers prepare to do it all over again at Celtic Park tomorrow in the Scottish Premiership. 

Rangers dominated the visitors last week to win 3-0 and advance to the final four of the Premier Sports Cup.

Much like last week, and all future league derbies this season, the match will be played in front of no away fans as Celtic get their turn at a full house tomorrow.

Despite exiting the League Cup last week, Celtic maintain their perfect start to the league winning each of their opening six. Their last league fixture was a 2-1 win away to St. Mirren two weeks ago. However, their most recent fixture was a 3-1 home defeat to Hungarian side Ferencváros, which raised many question marks over Martin O’Neill.

As for Rangers, they’ll come into this one fresh following last week’s demolition of Celtic.  Their last league match was a 1-0 win at home to Motherwell, and overall, Derrick McInnes’ side have won their last five matches.

The last time these sides met in the league- and at Celtic Park, the hosts were 3-1 victors following a brace from Daizen Maeda, a catalyst in Celtic’s dramatic league win last season.

Celtic have no fresh concerns of absences with Alistair Johnstone still injured and Hyun-junior Yang at the Asian Games with South Korea.

Ryan Naderi is added to Rangers’ injury list this week alongside captain Lawrence Shankland and Youssef Chermiti. Kevin Kelsy is likely to retain his place up front tomorrow after a goal in last week’s fixture. New signing Daisuke Yokota is likely to remain out for this one following a groin injury.

The match kicks off tomorrow at noon at Celtic Park.
