Hearts have confirmed the departure of Norwegian midfielder Sander Kartum today by mutual consent.
Kartum joined the Edinburgh side in January 2025 and made 17 appearances for the club scoring twice.
The 30 year old struggled to establish himself as a regular starter for the 2025/26 season spent the majority of the season on loan to Wellington Phoenix.
During his time in New Zealand he made 12 starts and scored twice.
The club thanked Kartum for his efforts and wished him well for the future.
Kartum now leaves Hearts looking for the next step in his career after just over a year and a half with the Scottish Premiership club.
