On 14 minutes, Hibs were awarded a penalty for a foul in the box from a corner. Mayor stepped up and found the roof of the net to double Hibs’ advantage. The dream start for David Gray’s side in Dingwall.
2 nearly became three on 23 minutes. Hibs initially worked the ball well down their left-hand side, before Mayor received it and whipped in a dangerous ball, which Suto got on the end of, but the striker headed over.
Suto found space on the edge of the box and had a shot, which was well saved by Foster, who got down low to deny the forward.
Hibs eventually got their third on 39 minutes. Mulligan and Wright combined well, before Wright’s deflected cross found Suto, who converted from close range, to put Hibs in a commanding position.
Emslie worked the ball onto his left foot and had a shot, which was deflected over the bar.
