Dundee Football Club is delighted to announce that Ethan Crombie has signed a new contract with the club, committing his future to Dundee until the summer of 2029.
Crombie joins fellow development squad member Charley Oosenbrugh in opting to stay with the Dark Blues for the long term. The midfielder made his first team debut during the Premier Sports Cup group stages this summer having travelled with the squad to Budapest from preseason.
The 17-year-old is currently on a cooperation loan with Forfar Athletic, where he has featured in League 2 while also representing Dundee B in the KDM Evolution Trophy.
Ethan Crombie said: “All the lads have been top with me, the first team players and all the staff have been amazing with me. And obviously I’m out on loan just now, which is going really well.
“I joined Dundee at about 10 years old, I came in full-time in 2025 and it’s gone really well and I’m really enjoying it so far. I want to eventually progress into the Dundee first team, play consistently and keep progressing from there.”
Head of Football Development Scott Robertson added: “This is really promising for Ethan and also the club in terms of the continued investment in player development and young Scottish players that we think could hopefully progress into the first team.
“There’s no guarantees, there will still be plenty of ups and downs for Ethan yet, but certainly in a short period of time he’s showed really signs of development, so it’s fantastic that he has decided to commit to the club.”
